The VISQUE DPS LH210 supports up to 210 slides per batch and scans at 23 seconds per slide, expanding Vieworks’ digital pathology lineup.
Vieworks will make the global debut of its VISQUE DPS LH210 digital slide scanner at the United States & Canadian Academy of Pathology (USCAP) Annual Meeting, held March 23 to 25 at the Henry B. González Convention Center in San Antonio, Texas.
The LH210 is a mid-capacity scanner designed to handle both cytology and histology slides on a single system, addressing growing laboratory demand for flexible, scalable digital pathology workflows. The scanner supports up to 210 slides per batch and delivers a scan speed of 23 seconds per slide at 15 × 15 mm at 40×, according to the company.
A key design focus of the LH210 is data efficiency. The system produces high-resolution whole slide images while reducing file size, which Vieworks says helps lower storage requirements and improves data transfer performance across digital pathology workflows.
Realtime Extended Focus Technology
The LH210 incorporates Vieworks’ proprietary Realtime Extended Focus (Realtime EF) technology, the same system used in the existing VISQUE DPS LH510. The technology uses a 3-camera structure to simultaneously capture multiple focal images and fuse them in real time into a single whole slide image. According to the company, this approach maintains high scanning speed while keeping file sizes optimized for routine and research environments.
Expanding the VISQUE DPS Lineup
The LH210 joins the LH510, Vieworks’ high-throughput solution designed for large hospitals, reference laboratories, and research centers. Together, the two scanners are intended to cover a broad range of laboratory throughput requirements under the VISQUE DPS platform.
“We are pleased to introduce the LH210 to the global market at USCAP 2026,” says a Vieworks representative, in a release. “With the expansion of the VISQUE DPS lineup, we aim to provide scalable digital pathology solutions that combine fast scanning, optimized data management, and scalable throughput. By supporting both cytology and histology on a single system, Vieworks will continue to help laboratories improve workflow efficiency as digital pathology adoption accelerates worldwide.”
Vieworks will showcase the LH210 and LH510 during the USCAP 2026 exhibition.
