Menu Includes Thyroid, Kidney, and Cardiovascular Testing
The expanded BetterWay menu includes new tests for thyroid, kidney, and heart health. The thyroid test menu now features Free T4, Total T3, Total T4, and Anti-Thyroid Peroxidase, in addition to the previously released Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) test. Together, these tests provide a comprehensive view of thyroid gland function and can help clinicians diagnose a range of disorders like hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, T3 toxicosis, and Hashimoto’s thyroiditis. For kidney health, the menu now includes a Uric Acid test, which is important for preventing gout and kidney stones. The newest addition to the heart test menu is High-Sensitivity CRP, which assesses cardiovascular risk by detecting low-level inflammation that contributes to plaque buildup in the arteries. These tests and more can be run with just a pea-sized amount of blood collected from a fingertip at convenient locations like pharmacies and clinics.

Blood Collection Less Invasive, but Accurate and Efficient
BetterWay blood testing makes blood collection less invasive and more convenient without sacrificing the accuracy and efficiency of laboratory testing. Samples are analyzed at Babson’s CLIA-certified lab in Austin, and customers receive test results in one to two days. The service partners with retailers, healthcare organizations, and clinician practices to offer their communities access to affordable testing with a preferred experience.
BetterWay launched in May 2024 with a menu of 55 tests, covering the analytes most commonly ordered for routine exams, chronic condition management, and screenings. These additional 6 tests will expand access to key insights for improving health and wellbeing.
