Over 30 years experience in Gastroenterology. Board-certified in Gastroenterology in US. Accredited in General (Internal) Medicine, Gastroenterology and Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics in UK. Diploma in Gastroenterology from European Board of Gastroenterology / European Union of Medical Specialists. Fellow, American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Physicians, American College of Gastroenterology, American College of Clinical Pharmacology. Co-Editor, Alimentary Pharmacology & Therapeutics. Editorial Board member for Gastroenterology and Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology. Independent pharmaceutical consultant with extensive experience advising pharmaceutical companies, including training of company employees. Extensive medicolegal experience including patent litigation, medical malpractice, product liability issues.
Dr. Steven F. Moss, MD
Dr. Moss graduated from University College London Medical School. He completed a gastroenterology fellowship at the Royal Postgraduate Medical School (Hammersmith Hospital) in London, and a second gastroenterology fellowship in New York, USA, at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital (Columbia University). He is currently a Professor of Medicine and the Program Director of the Gastroenterology Fellowship Training Program at Brown University, and the Director of Endoscopy at Providence VA Medical Center.
Dr. Moss’ research has for many years focused on the basic and clinical aspects of H. pylori infection. He has received awards and research funding from the American Gastroenterology Association (Funderburg Gastric Cancer award) and several NIH grants for this research and has co-authored the 2017 and 2024 US guidelines on H. pylori management and is a member of the “Maastricht” group that develops international guidelines for H. pylori. He has over 200 peer-reviewed publications, served as a consultant to the WHO, has served on the Editorial Boards of multiple gastroenterology journals and as a councilor of the American Gastroenterology Association. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK), an American Gastroenterology Association Fellow, a Fellow of the American College of Gastroenterology
