This company has introduced the Cytospin 4 cytocentrifuge for low-speed centrifugation to separate and deposit a thin layer of cells onto glass slides while maintaining cellular integrity.
Cytospin4 optimizes the concentration of cells or microorganisms into a well-defined area on a slide through the centrifugation process. It also allows users to continue working with hypocellular fluids, as well as specimen volumes from 0.01 to 6 mL.
Enhancements over the previous Cytospin model include a refined outer lid design for easy one-handed operation, an easy-to-use control pad, a pull-out program card, and a specimen safety alarm feature, as well as an updated mechanical system and new outer design.
