The facility will feature a Mercury 100-S system with enhanced environmental control to support North American customers.
Arrayjet has opened its inaugural US laboratory in Bend, Oregon, through a strategic collaboration with Grace Bio Labs. The new Arrayjet Printing Suite, located within Grace Bio Labs’ ISO 13485-certified facility, aims to strengthen support for North American customers and partners.
The suite will feature a Mercury 100-S with enhanced environmental control, bringing Arrayjet’s technical capabilities and manufacturing capacity to the United States, according to the company.
“This dedicated facility will let US customers see Arrayjet’s technology in action and make it easier for us to support and work with our North American clients,” says Iain McWilliam, CEO of Arrayjet, in a release.
Arrayjet specializes in high-speed inkjet microarray technology, while Grace Bio Labs has developed microarray substrates and incubation chambers for over 30 years. The partnership builds on an existing relationship between the two companies.
Co-locating US operations at the Bend facility will allow direct optimization of Grace Bio Labs’ solutions with Arrayjet instrumentation to accelerate product innovation, according to the companies.
“Welcoming Arrayjet to our Bend facility enhances the long-term collaboration we have enjoyed,” says Lisa Hale, CEO of Grace Bio Labs, in a release. “The move strategically co-locates Grace Bio Labs’ extensive portfolio of microarray solutions with Arrayjet’s leading instrumentation. This ensures a consistent supply chain while delivering exceptional, client-focused solutions from a single, efficient US-based hub.”
McWilliam says the facility launch marks a milestone for Arrayjet’s presence and service offering in the US market. The company plans to host demonstration events and client projects at the new location.
