The Gyrotwister three-dimensional shaker produces a wave-like motion that can be used for staining and destaining gels and washing blots.
Speed is continuously variable to 60rpm, allowing for gentle action as well as more vigorous mixing. The final ±7º tilt angle alleviates dry spots in the center of sample containers. Shaker operation is controlled by a three-hour timer with a hold position for continuous operation. It can be used in temperature controlled environments, up to 65ºC.
The shaker is supplied with a 30 x 30cm platform with a non-slip surface and a dimpled rubber mat for holding tubes in place.
