The Hematoxylin QS is a “quick stain” form of hematoxylin that provides crisp blue-violet nuclear staining in less than 45 seconds.
This new counterstain is a modified form of Mayer’s hematoxylin that requires no “blueing” step, contains no mercury and does not obscure antigen-specific chromogen deposition.
Offered as a 100 ml package, hematoxylin is ready to use without filtration and is compatible with most commonly used peroxidase and alkaline phosphatase substrates, with manual or automated staining.
