Power to the lamp remains consistent regardless of voltage fluctuations in standard electrical outlets and fluctuations in lamp voltage that occur over time. This power supply regularly monitors the increase in voltage required for consistent illumination over the life of the lamp. The unit can identify when the lamp has reached the practical end of its life and requires replacement.
Start up and normal operation indicators in addition to an integral voltage meter provide a guide to monitor current lamp conditions. A battery packed LCD hour meter tracks lamp usage and can be reset when a lamp is installed.
