productThis turnkey DHS System for collection and disposal of infectious material uses a decontamination process to render infectious waste inert so that it may be placed in a landfill or incinerated as ordinary domestic waste without further processing.
Appropriate packaging is supplied for each specific type of material, with around-the-clock collection. The waste collection vehicle is equipped with a weighing system and houses a supply of empty, disinfected containers to replace filled ones.
A bar code is applied to each filled container for identification and tracking, allowing traceability of waste at all times. The bar code reader is housed in the collection vehicle for fast tracking, ensuring that waste is correctly transported and destroyed within the regulated time.
Waste is autoclaved at 320° F for ninety minutes, then shredded and ready to be stored in a landfill or burned at a household waste incinerator facility.
