This company has added Trace Metal Element Tubes to its existing Vacuette line of plastic blood collection products.
Cleared by the Food and Drug Administration, the tubes are intended for use in detecting trace metal elements in human blood samples. They are available with or without sodium heparin as an additive. The size of the tubes is 13x100mm with a volume of 6ml.
The Vacuette line of plastic tubes is compatible with existing equipment without affecting procedures or performance. They are designed to provide equivalent results while improving safety and reducing overall cost when compared with glass tubes.
