Verichem Laboratories is offering clinical lab professionals a wide selection of liquid stable and ready-to-use clinical reference materials for carbon dioxide testing procedures. The five-level standard kit, along with the optional Level F, comprise a definitive set of materials intended for calibration and/or calibration verification of the assay on clinical instrument systems.
Suited for use with both ion selective electrode (ISE) and enzymatic/colorimetric testing methodologies, the materials offer universal compatibility with a wide variety of clinical instruments, including those from Abbott Laboratories, Beckman Coulter, Horiba Medical, Roche Diagnostics, and Siemens Healthcare. The materials are designed to meet the needs of a wide variety of laboratorians, including those performing routine diagnostic testing, clinical research applications, and in the development and manufacturing of in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) products.
The complete six level set of Verichem’s carbon dioxide reference materials offer concentration levels ranging from 5.0 mmol/L to 50.0 mmol/L and are expressly designed to support overall system QC and meet the necessary CLIA requirements for verification materials with known values in the determination of a clinical system’s accuracy, sensitivity, linearity, and reportable range. All materials are filled within ready-to-use, translucent polyethylene dropper vials, with a generous fifteen milliliter (15.0mL) fill volume at each concentration level.
The unique liquid stable format is free of glycols, surfactants, azides, and other interfering substances and is prepared from pure reagent grade source materials; with each concentration level verified using Sodium Carbonate Alkalimetric Standard, meeting the reagent grade designation as specified by the American Chemical Society (ACS). In addition, all these carbon dioxide reference materials feature an exceptional open-vial stability (15 months), display negligible lot-to-lot variation, and contains a Certificate of Analysis (COA) within each kit which includes lot specific traceability data.
Verichem Laboratories serves the clinical laboratory testing and in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) manufacturing markets with a comprehensive line of calibration verification products, chemistry standards, linearity standards, clinical reference materials, and support services — including free and instant online data reduction reports for CLIA compliance.
