Horiba, Kyoto, Japan, has acquired MedTest Holdings, Canton, Mich, which is composed of MedTest Dx, Pointe Scientific, Clinitox Diagnostix, and Medical Laboratory Solutions.
The acquisition will combine the complementary innovative technology offerings of the Horiba Medical segment with MedTest Dx technology, Clinitox, and Pointe Scientific’s research and development and manufacturing capabilities, with particular expertise in FDA 510K and CLIA clearances, to address the multidisciplinary requirements of IVD testing customers.
