These –86C ULT Freezers feature the Peak II Refrigeration System, which combines this company’s design experience with energy efficient refrigerants and compressors developed for the high and low stages of the product’s cascade refrigeration system.
The system’s silent watch automatically limits system temperatures for compressor protection. The freezers are constructed and stress tested to operate efficiently at a temperature range of –50C to –86C in a 32C ambient environment. Refrigerants used are non-CFC, non-HCFC, non-flammable, and commercially available. Single-and double-door upright freezers are available in 13.0, 17.3 and 23.0 cu. ft. capacities.
The 900 Series features an independent microprocessor temperature controller and electronic monitor/alarm system for precise temperature monitoring and control. The premium 8500 Series features the company’s Enviro-Scan Microprocessor Monitoring System. Both series’ units are UL Listed, CSA Certified, and bear the CE Mark. Additional sizes and temperature ranges are available.
