The NOW® RSV is a rapid immuno-chromatographic assay for the qualitative detection of respiratory syncytial virus fusion protein antigen in nasal wash specimens from symptomatic patients. The test is intended for in vitro diagnostic use to aid in the diagnosis of respiratory syncytial virus infections in neonatal and pediatric patients. The NOW RSV test is easy to run, requires no reagents, and yields results in 15 minutes.
