The newly released Laboratory Production Manager (LPM) version 5.5.3 revision 3, from PGP-Data Innovations Inc, South Burlington, Vt, includes new optimization-oriented strategies and faster installation and migration process. The LPM implements a new computation scheduling algorithm, and computations are now up to 30% faster, on average. In addition, database transactions require fewer resources as queries are more efficient and less intensive. New optimizations also include remote commands alert registration, workstation backup at randomized times, a faster host backup process, and a quicker and simpler installation process.

Helps deposit cells into microscope slides
