The COULTER® LH 500 hematology analyzer is designed for mid- to high-volume laboratories and offers complete blood counts with five-part differential analysis. The system also features advanced 3-D volume, conductivity, and scatter technology.
The instrument’s linearity limits extend from zero to 200,000 cells-per-mL for white blood cells, while platelet linearity extends from zero to 2 million cells-per-mL. The system also features improved platelet performance, which decreases flags and the need for manual reviews when platelet numbers are less than 20,000 cells-per-mL.
The system reduces operator intervention by offering continuous sample loading for complete walk-away operation. Additionally, the LH 500 integrates seamlessly with COULTER LH 700 series instruments, sharing the same reagents, controls, and calibrators.
