R&D Systems Inc now offers its CBC-Tech70, a trilevel whole-blood control assayed specifically for the Bayer Advia 70 hematology analyzer. The 5-part differential control is available in color-coded, 3.0-mL pierceable screw-cap tubes with noncoring septums. Assay disks are provided for assay value uploading.
The CBC-Tech70 carries an 8-day open-vial stability and a 75-day closed-vial stability. Trilevel and bilevel package configurations also are available. CBC-Monitor, a complete quality-control program, is provided to CBC-Tech70 users. The program, which includes a peer group analysis, is available on the company’s Web site, and provides Internet access for both data submission and report retrieval.
