photoThis recently designed compact binocular microscope can be used by laboratory and educational disciplines with a limited budget.
Reducing the size of the microscope by more than 15 percent while maintaining a high degree of optical clarity allows the Model M-250 to reach microscope users who would normally buy a monocular unit. The smaller, lighter M-250 has some of the same features as units costing much more.
A reverse nosepiece allows for easier positioning and changing of specimen slides. The four-parfocal and par centric achromatic objectives (4x, 10x, 40x, 100x) are DIN standard. The interior prisms and sealed optics have an anti-fungal coating for use in humid or tropical environments.
A quartz halogen lamp (6V 20W) provides illumination with intensity control. An abbe condenser N.A. 1.25, filter holder, blue filter dust cover and attached cord hanger (for easier storage) are all included.
Options include Unico-Plan objectives, optical grade convex mirror for field use and fluorescent illumination system.
