The Centricon® Plus-70 centrifugal filter is optimized for concentrating and desalting proteins, antibodies, viruses from chromatography fractions, cell culture supernatants, fermentation broths, and biological fluids, as well as for exchanging buffers. The filter concentrates 70 mL down to 350 mL in 25 minutes, with typical concentration factors between 50- and 200-times sample recoveries greater than 90%. The device also includes a deadstop that prevents samples from spinning to dryness. The Centricon Plus-70 is a convenient alternative to stirred cells, lyophilization, or precipitation and dialysis techniques.
