Computype Inc, Minneapolis, has just launched a new campaign to help lab managers increase efficiency through better labeling identification.
The campaign, called “Stump Us,” will run from May 15 to 18 during the ISBER 2012 annual meeting. Show attendees are encouraged to stop by Computype’s booth to submit their most challenging labeling situations and discuss potential customized solutions.
“Lab managers constantly strive to run the most productive and efficient labs possible, but it’s hard to do that when extra time is needed to trace unidentifiable labware,” says Eric Isberg, laboratory market manager for Computype. “We developed this campaign to help our clients get past their identification hurdles while increasing efficiency and accuracy. I’m excited to see what types of situations our customers are facing, and what customized solutions we can bring to the table.”
Labeling challenges may include facing a harsh storage environment, a weird container, or unusual data or symbology requirements, though all types of situations are welcome. The person with the most unique or difficult problem, as judged by Computype, will win a free Cab EOS thermal printer, valued at more than $1,000.
Those not attending ISBER can submit their labeling challenge online by visiting the Computype Stump Us Web page. All entries must be received no later than 1 pm (CDT) on May 18.
