This company has introduced a deoxynucleotide triphosphate, dUTP. Many molecular diagnostic laboratories use dUTP (2’-Deoxyuridine, 5’-Triphosphate) for their PCR amplification reactions. dUTP allows for use of the enzyme uracil-N-glycosylase(a) (UNG) to prevent carryover contamination of PCR products.
