Eppendorf North America Inc, Hauppauge, NY, introduces a new generation of temperature control and mixing Instruments.
The ThermoMixer C, F1.5, and FP (two-in-one instruments for combined mixing and incubating) uses Mix-Control technology, which ensures fast and efficient mixing in 96- and 384-well plates.
Controlled circular movements enable mixing in small volumes, and the anti-spill technology prevents lid wetting and cross-contamination.
For dry incubation, the new ThermoMixer C and ThermoStat C are operated together with Eppendorf SmartBlocks. The sensor-controlled SmartBlocks maintain accurate and uniform temperatures.
For improved temperature control performance, the company is also introducing its ThermoTop, a heated lid with condens.protect technology. This reliably prevents condensation formation on the tube lid and wall, and also supports temperature homogeneity of the thermoblocks to ensure excellent reaction conditions.
