These Linear Gradient Makers, for use in gradient gel electrophoresis, sucrose density gradient centrifugation and liquid chromatography, can make reproducible gradients easily up to 2000 mls total volume. They are available in eight sizes, each with a side outlet.
Gradient flow is controlled by a Teflon valve centered between the two chambers. The outflow channel is fitted with a male luer adaptor which can be used with any needle or luer valve. Flow rate is controlled either by the valve fitted on the outflow male luer adaptor or by a peristaltic pump.
