productDVVtroll Lupus Anticoagulant quality control plasmas is an unassayed control set developed for use as part of a laboratory’s daily quality control procedures for Lupus Anticoagulant testing. Such procedures include both screening and confirmatory assays.
The normal control is a lyophilized preparation of a multi-donor normal plasma pool with added buffers. The abnormal control is a lyophilized preparation of a Lupus Anticoagulant plasma, in a buffered solution which has been tested and shown to be positive for Lupus Anticoagulants in accordance with the revised criteria of the SCC Subcommittee for the Standardization of Lupus Anticoagulants. Source plasmas for both controls are processed by means of a uniform approach consistent with established protocols to ensure platelet-poor plasma.
