This company is now offering the Adiaflo Platelet HPA-1 standardized flow cytometry assay for determining platelet P1A1/P1A2 polymorphism.
The assay allows for the differentiation of the three GpIIIa polymorphic phenotypes, which have been associated with platelet incompatibilities, including neonatal alloimmune thrombocytopenia and post-transfusion purpura.
The Adiaflo Platelet HPA-1 test is fully validated against the genotypic reference method. It can be performed using only 50µL of citrated whole blood and the test kit comes with all necessary reagents, calibrator material and associated testing components to perform 10 individual patient studies.
