Randox Laboratories Ltd, UK, and UK Trade and Investment Pakistan, which promotes UK business growth in Pakistan, have collaborated to host seminars titled “Improving Healthcare and Laboratory performance in Pakistan.”
The seminars have been presented in Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad, Pakistan.
Held at the end of May, the presentations were designed for pathologists and lab professionals working at private and public hospitals in Pakistan.
Stephen Doherty, Randox Laboratories Ltd, the keynote speaker, discussed ways in which hospitals and labs in Pakistan can improve patients’ results reported by clinical labs through external quality assurance and internal quality control.
Speaker Adnan Zuberi, MD, a consultant chemical pathologist at Ziauddin University Hospital discussed the cost-saving benefits of early errors detection and correct patient diagnosis.
