Samsung Telecommunications America LLC (Samsung Mobile) has selected Voalté to provide clinical communication systems for use on Samsung’s smartphones.
Samsung is uniquely positioned to satisfy the needs of hospitals and other health care providers with a broad line of LED high-resolution displays and Samsung Galaxy products, including the Samsung Galaxy Note, and the Samsung Galaxy Player.
In collaboration with Samsung, Voalté fine-tuned its Voalté One application to take advantage of the flexibility of Android operating system for mobile devices.
Voalté’s smartphone communications system enables caregivers to send and receive presence-based text messages, make high-definition voice calls across the hospital VoIP system, and receive critical care alarms, providing faster response time to patient needs. Installed in hospitals nationwide, Voalté has put more smartphones in the hands of nurses and hospital workers than any other clinical communications provider.
