Shimadzu Scientific Instruments opened a new regional office in Carlsbad, Calif on July 1 that will allow Shimadzu to provide more direct sales, technical, and service support for Southern California, Southern Nevada, and Hawaii.
The new location is the company’s ninth US regional office and will be fully supported through the corporate office in Columbia, Md.
Shimadzu formerly worked for this region through a distributor, Cole Scientific. Many of the Cole Scientific employees have transferred to Shimadzu to ensure uninterrupted customer service under the Shimadzu umbrella.
