Custom-designed BaseMate vibration-free islands offer omnidirectional, ultra-low-frequency vibration damping and automatic leveling. The island’s airmount system provides vertical isolation, while the proprietary tri-filar pendulum assembly provides stable cradle support for enhanced horizontal isolation. Further damping is produced by corrosion-resistant metals and epoxies. The BaseMate island has a lightweight, rigid surface and a black polyurethane finish.
