WaferGen Bio-systems, Fremont, Calif, has signed a supply agreement with genetics laboratory Reprogenetics, Livingston, NJ, for use of WaferGen’s Apollo 324 next-generation sequencing (NGS) sample preparation system.

The Apollo 324 will enable automation of NGS library preparation for preimplantation genetic screening (PGS) used in in vitro fertilization (IVF). The compact, versatile system enables rapid and full walkaway library prep automation for NGS applications. It combines precise liquid handling and proven chemistries to provide a streamlined sample-to-answer solution for robust library preparation on all major NGS platforms.
