These thin-wall capillary tubes are available in three materials for sampling liquids, crystals and fine powders. They can be sealed tightly against moisture and gases using wax, epoxy or by melting them with a flame (glass only).
Super Capillary Tubes come in heat-resistant quartz, borosilicate glass, which is transparent to X-rays, or a special glass that can be cut and resealed using a flame. The wide funnel end simplifies sample collection and, the collected samples can be sealed using wax, epoxy or flame.
They can be used for mounting, holding, and storing small molecule and biological macromolecular crystals.
