The BTC-3 is a 4″ x 4″ shield made from a bright, glowing red acrylic. It is designed to assist and give protection from needle sticks during the transfer of blood from a syringe to the blood culture bottle. The hole size inside diameter will fit over the BacT/Alert blood culture bottle.
