Hematocrit determination with standard capillaries can be carried out with the Hettich Haematokrit 20 centrifuge with segmented 24-place rotor. Every capillary has its own segment or chamber and the lid of the rotor doubles as both an evaluation disc and cover. A 20 place capillary rotor is also available for quantitative buffy coat analysis. The centrifuge itself comes equipped with an induction drive motor capable of speeds up to 13,000 RPM and 16,060 RCF. The keypad controller displays time and speed and has an impulse key for short centrifuging operations.
