In partnership with Arotec Diagnostics Ltd, the Binding Site, San Diego, has developed a Ro (SSA) antigen for use as an integral component in solid-phase ELISA-based immunoassay procedures for the detection of anti-Ro (SSA) antibodies. Antibodies to the Ro (SSA) antigen are one of the most common serological markers of autoimmunity in rheumatic diseases, including Sjögren’s syndrome (SS), systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), and rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Extracted and purified from bovine thymus solely of New Zealand origin, this Ro (SSA) antigen exhibits greater than 90% purity as assessed by SDS polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis, while demonstrating high degrees of activity and specificity. The antigen is available in standard fill formats of 1.0 mg and 0.2 mg, with custom packaging options also available. For more information, visit the Binding Site.
