The Instrument Manager (IM) version 7.04 software uses off the shelf hardware to provide an instrument connectivity solution for the LIS.
Instrument Manager version 7.04 offers the following enhancements: an upgrade of its database language from Caché 2 to Caché 4, the ability to run on the Windows 2000 operating system (in addition to Windows 95/98/NT), a new rapid order entry tool, enhanced rules processing and results review, edit, release, and a new report designer tool that enables you to create bar code labels and specimen reports in a user-defined format.
