BD (Becton, Dickinson and Company) has launched the BD Vacutainer Urine Complete Cup Kit, a three-tube collection system designed to expand testing capabilities from a single urine specimen while reducing contamination risks and improving workflow efficiency.
The new kit features an innovative third tube design that allows clinicians to perform additional testing without manually transferring urine or collecting new samples. This approach helps reduce contamination risks and supports safer, more efficient patient care by minimizing exposure risks for healthcare workers and reducing the need for repeat patient collections.
