Verichem Laboratories is offering a new extensive offering of liquid stable and ready-to-use clinical reference materials for protein testing.

The multi-level and combined Total Protein/Albumin Standard Kit, along with the optional and stand-alone, Total Protein/ Albumin Standard – Level F, and the Microprotein Standard Kit are all specifically designed and manufactured for the calibration and calibration verification of  Albumin and Total Protein assays on a wide number of clinical testing systems, including those from Abbott Diagnostics, Beckman Coulter, Roche Diagnostics, Siemens Healthineers, the company says.

Developed to address the needs for a wide variety of medical laboratory professionals, Verichem’s clinical reference materials for protein testing are treated just as ordinary patient specimens, with no preparation, diluents, or reconstitution required. The materials are prepared with human serum albumin and gamma-globulin serum proteins in a saline-based solution, where the assigned concentration levels have been verified against NIST Standard Reference Materials (SRM’s). The product’s formulation, along with the CLIA compliant set point design, is critical for the determination of a testing system’s accuracy, sensitivity, linearity, and reportable range.

Plus, the matrix is stabilized and preserved with a proprietary blend of non-reactive materials, resulting in an exceptional product shelf-life claim of 24 months from date of manufacture. All of Verichem’s clinical reference materials for protein testing are filled within easy-to-use and translucent polyethylene dropper vials, with each vial containing an ample fifteen milliliters (15.0 mL) of material at each concentration level making them ideal for numerous calibration verification testing and system troubleshooting events. Plus, a detailed Certificate of Analysis (COA), indicating traceability and actual lot data, is provided and shipped with every order.

The company serves the clinical laboratory testing and in-vitro diagnostic (IVD) manufacturing markets with a comprehensive line of clinical reference materials, calibration verification products, chemistry standards, linearity confirmation materials, and support services ̶ including free, instant online data reduction reports for full CLIA compliance.
