Combining multiple levels of controls and dedicated software, the system assures that quality control is performed accurately, on schedule and in a way that guarantees regulatory compliance.
Each cartridge contains three levels of blood gas controls, two levels of hematocrit and hemoglobin controls plus software that automates running controls and storing QC data.
When a cartridge is installed, QC target ranges, lot code and expiration date information are downloaded. The operator then programs the pHOx to automatically analyze up to three QC levels three times per day.
