ImmuLite Turbo HCG is a solid-phase, two-site, chemiluminescent enzyme immunometric assay for use with the ImmuLite Automated Analyzer. It quantitatively measures human chorionic gonadotropin (HCG) in serum or heparinized or EDTA plasma.
This assay uses monoclonal and polyclonal antibodies for the capture and detection, respectively, of HCG. It is intended for in vitro use as an aid in the detection of pregnancy. In the ImmuLite Turbo mode, samples are processed at an accelerated rate. The first sample is processed in less than 15 minutes, and subsequent samples are processed every 45 seconds.
The ImmuLite menu currently includes 105 kits, 74 of which are cleared for marketing in the United States. The U.S. HCG assay is available in 100- and 500-test kits.
