This company has introduced three agglutination test kits for rheumatoid factor, streptococcal exoenzymes and ASO.
These kits are Wampole ColorCard RF, Wampole ColorCard Streptozyme and Wampole ColorCard ASO. Each features color-enhanced agglutination against a contrasting background to improve readability. The RF product is a color-enhanced slide test for the rapid qualitative and semi-quantitative detection of rheumatoid factor in serum. It demonstrated 100 percent correlation in studies with another commercial assay.
The streptozyme product detects the five major streptococcal extracellular antigens in serum, plasma and peripheral blood. The ASO kit is a color-enhanced, two-minute slide agglutination test for the detection of Antistreptolysin O.
The kits feature color-enhanced reaction with results available in two minutes or less. Each kit includes controls, pipettes/stirrers and disposable slides. The RF test is available in kits of 25, 50 and 150 and has a shelf life of 24 months. The streptozyme product is available in 50 and 150 test kits and has a shelf life of 18 months.
