Antek HealthWare has released a new version update of its LabDAQ laboratory information system (LIS). LabDAQ Version 3.5 provides tools that will assist labs in managing both standing orders and difficult test calculations. The improved standing orders functionality allows orders to be created for nearly any pattern of occurrence.  Other new features include expanded test calculations that pull age, race, and gender from the patient record and the enhanced ability to graph patient test results for up to six tests on one report.  For added convenience, users can quickly access the technical support department or Antek’s Web site from a shortcut on the welcome screen of LabDAQ.

“LabDAQ continues to provide new features based on customer requests,” says Jim Kasoff, vice president of operations at Antek HealthWare.  “LabDAQ tools, such as advanced test calculations and standing orders, allow the laboratory to quickly turnaround tests with fewer errors.”
