bioMérieux, a manufacturer in the field of in vitro diagnostics, is bringing together more than 70 of the world’s leading scientific experts for the 3rd edition of the World HAI Forum being held June 27-29, 2011. International experts in medicine, microbiology, and infectious diseases will convene in Annecy, France, for three days to discuss and determine the urgent measures that must be taken to confront and control antibiotic resistance. At the forum, these leading academicians, clinicians, and scientists will work to draw attention to this growing threat and will draft a Call to Action addressed to governments and public health authorities with concrete measures that must be taken to control antibiotic resistance.
