The CETP test kit quantitatively determines the concentration of cholesteryl ester transfer protein (CETP) in human serum. The CETP mass is measured by utilizing sandwich enzyme immunoassay methodology, which is a useful tool for lipid research purposes.
Samples in the Wako CETP assay are treated with the detergent-containing pretreatment solution. CETP in the sample is released from lipoproteins and then reacts with the monoclonal antibody (CETP-4) coated on the solid phase, as well as with the HRP-labeled monoclonal antibody. Enzyme activity in the solid phase is then determined using hydrogen peroxide and the chromogen. The Wako CETP assay is precise, accurate, and specific.
