The analyzer provides simultaneous testing for clotting, chromogenic, and immunologic assays, providing high throughput of both routine and coagulation specialty assays. The analyzer is the next generation of the highly successful STA® platform that incorporates patented viscosity-based detection system technology, bar-coded precalibrated reagents, and software-managed maintenance. Advanced features incorporate Windows XP® software, and can optimize sample management and provide optimum security and complete traceability of patient results. In addition to a comprehensive QC program, new, dedicated certification/accreditation features, and computer specifications, the analyzer includes a built-in CD/DVD burner and USB ports to enhance workflow and laboratory productivity.

Traceable Multi-Colored Timer
Customizable, three-frame timer
Control Co, Friendswood, Tex, introduces its Traceable® 4-Channel Multi-Colored™ Timer, which allows users to personalize the timer to show distinct style and customization with three different frames. Its four separate timing channels both count down and alarm. There is an automatic Bounceback™ Memory for repetitive timing. The timer counts up during alarming, indicating elapsed time since alarming, and can time up to 99 hours, 59 minutes, 59 seconds. It is settable to 1 second with 1-second resolution, and four channels count up in stopwatch mode. This timer also serves as a 12- or 24-hour time-of-day clock. An easel bench stand and magnetic back are provided.

Setra Room Pressure Monitor
Provides accurate pressure monitoring and alarming
Setra Systems Inc, Boxborough, Mass, offers the Model SRPM (Setra Room Pressure Monitor), which is now BACnet Capable. The SRPM is designed for pharmaceutical, hospital, semiconductor, clean rooms, research laboratories, and critical low-differential-pressure applications that require stringent pressure monitoring and alarming. It monitors the positive or negative pressure in protected environments and airborne infection isolation rooms per CDC guidelines. The monitor combines patented low-pressure sensor technology with the latest in electronics, measuring and displaying pressure readings to 0.001 inches of water column resolution. The SRPM features a RGB backlit touch screen and SPDT relay for remote annunciation. Additional features include selectable analog 0 to 5 VDC, 0 to 10 VDC and 4 to 20 mA output, relay output, output and display averaging, and door status indication.
