Adhesive Seals

For PCR and storage use
The range of adhesive seals offered by Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc, Waltham, Mass, suit a variety of PCR and storage requirements, and facilitate easy handling and positioning. They are certified free from DNase, RNase, and human genomic DNA, and help prevent evaporation of sample during thermal cycling or storage. The PCR and QPCR seals can be peeled back without leaving a sticky residue. The Absolute™ QPCR seal is an optically clear film that provides fluorescence transmission and uses a nontacky adhesive that activates when pressure is applied to the seal. Adhesive PCR film provides sample security during thermal cycling and allows samples to be easily seen. The adhesive PCR foil is a thin aluminum layer that is useful for automated applications. This DMSO-resistant seal provides sample security during thermal cycling or storage, withstanding temperatures in the range of -70°C to 150ºC. The seals are available in sheets designed to fit SBS-dimensioned plates or rolls. The adhesive seal applicator is used for sealing all plates as the flat, rigid design helps users apply consistent pressure across the entire plate for an even seal.
