The all-PTFE in-line filter, with replaceable element, is designed to remove particulates from fluids that could otherwise cause damage to laboratory pumps, valves, and other mechanical liquid-handling devices. Unfiltered particulate matter can create a grinding action that results in premature wear, misalignment, deformation, fluid leakage, and subsequent equipment failure.
     The filter traps particulates, reducing the risk of catastrophic damage. Financial consequences and safety issues are realized by protecting the equipment, reducing operator exposure to caustic- or contaminated-fluid leakage, and eliminating the time and expense of replacing damaged components.
     An innovative filter housing imprinted with a spoke-style distribution pattern distributes the fluid over the entire filter surface area to ensure maximum filtration. Several connection options provide flexibility to the instrument’s design.
The filter is designed for easy and economical replacement.
