Western Re-Probe is specifically formulated to dissociate and remove antibodies from the membrane-bound protein without destroying the antigenic binding affinity. The removal of antibodies also removes corresponding chemiluminescent or radio-isotopic signals from the blots. The stripped blots can then be probed with new probes.
The blot is incubated in the product for 10 to 20 minutes at room temperature, washed with TBST buffer and then is ready for re-probing.
The product allows a researcher the opportunity to repeat the analysis of Western blots with multiple probes. Geno Technology
