Microgen GNA-ID System
Gram-negative bacterial identification panel
Hardy Diagnostics, Santa Maria, Calif, introduces a new Gram-negative bacterial identification panel, which is ideal for food, environmental, clinical, and pharmaceutical laboratories. The Microgen® GNA-ID System identifies the commonly encountered Enterobacteriaceae from food or clinical samples, including urine and wound isolates. Presented in a micro well format, this ID panel provides a flexible identification platform. The Gram-negative identification system employs 12 standardized biochemical substrates in micro wells to identify the family Enterobacteriaceae and other nonfastidious Gram-negative bacilli (oxidase negative and positive). Results are detected in 24 hours. Identification software comes included.
