MassTrack Immunosuppressants XE Kit

Measures immunosuppressant drug levels

Waters Corp, Milford, Mass, introduces a new research use only (RUO) kit for quantitative measurement of Tacrolimus, Sirolimus, Everolimus, and Cyclosporin A. The MassTrak™ Immunosuppressants XE RUO Kit is for clinical research laboratories seeking an alternative to immunoassay kits for quantitative measurement of immunosuppressant drug levels. Each kit includes reagents, controls, and calibrators, a tuning mixture for the mass spectrometer, and an analytical column for performing up to 500 determinations per kit. Used with Waters’ ACQUITY TQD System, the kit achieves high specificity in measuring the target analyte in the presence of drug metabolites and addresses some of the analytical weaknesses of immunoassay immunosuppressant drug measurement.

Listeria-ID Panel

Results in as little as 24 hours

Hardy Diagnostics, Santa Maria, Calif, introduces the Listeria-ID Panel from Microgen®—a Listeria ID panel ideal for food, environmental, clinical, and pharmaceutical laboratories. Listeria-ID is a complete identification system for identifying all Listeria spp. from culture, with no additional materials required. The system employs 12 standardized micro-well substrates and provides results in as little as 24 hours. Each panel has a built-in hemolysis test, which is a key reaction when identifying Listeria. Easy-to-use identification software is included within the kit. This panel aids in the identification of the Listeria monocytogenes, Listeria innocua, Listeria welshimeri, Listeria grayi, and Listeria ivanovii.
