Pathwork Diagnostics Inc has hired Sharon Tetlow as chief financial officer.
Tetlow has over a dozen years of experience as CFO in life sciences and a strong track record of strategic execution and capital raising. She was most recently senior vice president and CFO of Cell Genesys, a publicly traded biotechnology company, which she was instrumental in selling to BioSante. She served as a venture partner at Apax Partners, a private equity and venture firm, and previously served as senior vice president and chief financial officer of diaDexus, where she raised private capital to fund the development and successful launch of the company’s first product.
She also served as CFO of Reprogen and Terrapin, both private biotechnology companies. Prior to Terrapin, Tetlow worked in finance at Synergen, Genentech and Eli Lilly. She began her career in Washington D.C. where she worked in consulting at Lewin and Associates and then at the Brookings Institution. She holds a BA from the University of Delaware and an MBA from Stanford University.
